Exam Preparation

PSAT / SAT / ACT

Our work focuses on understanding, studying, and practicing the English sections of the exam with the goal of entering test day feeling comfortable and confident in earning the score that reflects your best efforts.

Working together, we zero in on strategies that will be most helpful with each student’s personal approach to testing. I explain how to navigate the various passages and their questions in the Reading and Writing sections, offering strategies to improve both accuracy and time-management. Additionally, if review of particular concepts seems beneficial, I clarify any misconceptions and patiently answer all questions.

In 25+ years of working with students on SAT-prep, I have never had a student whose scores have dropped. All have improved, and many remarkably so. I’m proud to report that there are even several perfect scorers among them. Nonetheless, each person is different and has his or her own strengths; we will set out to capitalize on them for an optimal exam experience.
